Summer Adventure Program
Why settle for just childcare when your child can have an adventure? Try the Y's Summer Adventure Program this summer!
The Summer Adventure Program will make use of the unique aspects of the Y's facility and a dynamic full and part time staff to provide an exciting opportunity for your child and family this summer. Themed weeks with captivating activities will provide your child with physical and educational activities, fun field trips and plenty of adventure.
This year, the SAP program will be broken into two main groups - Kindergarten to 3rd grade and 4th through 8th grade. This division will allow for the programs to fit the needs of the children even more! The older group will travel on Tuesdays and the younger group on Thursdays. Each group will participate in age appropriate activities based on the week's theme.
The SAP program allows you the flexibility to register for camp according to your and your child's needs. You can register your child for 1 week , multiple weeks or for the entire Summer and have them experience Camp right in your backyard!
SAP is based at the Y but will have the feel of camp with kids participating in all areas of the Y, taking off site field trips and doing special events each week with all activities centered around a weekly theme and bases activities on the four core values of the YMCA - Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, and Caring.
