Welcome to the areas only Indoor Skate Park!
All ages are welcome to use the Y's skate park. The Y offers free skate time, girls only skate, late skate and movies and skate lessons. Helmets and boards are available for use. Please respect the park rules for the benefit to all who use the skate park and the YMCA. Click here for the Skate Park rules
All Skaters must have a signed skate waiver and a signed Old Town Orono YMCA facility waiver. If you are under 18, waivers must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
You will not be allowed to skate without the proper waivers! NO EXCEPTIONS! Waivers for the facility and the skate park can be downloaded below and faxed to the Membership desk at 207-827-4972.
Skate Park Hours
Open Skate Monday 5:30-8pm, Tuesday-Friday 5-8pm, Saturday 12 (noon) to 4pm, Sunday 1-5pm
Learn to Skate!
All ages welcome to attend skate classes. Skills taught will be dependent on needs of the class. All skills are welcome.
Classes are offered on:
Mondays from 4:00pm-5:30pm
Saturdays from 10:30am to 12:00pm
Fee: Family Members $30-Members $45-Non-members $60
Intermediate Level Classes are also available.
In a 7 week course learn to:
*push and roll *ramp basics
*manuals *dropping in
*ollie *kick turns
Staff will instruct a new skill each week! The Skate park closed during class time to all but class participants. Support provided from skilled skaters. ALL equipment provided from boards to pads
