After School Activity Program
The After School Activity Program (ASAP) is a unique program that provides youth the opportunity to participate in both organized and unstructured activities. From the moment each child arrives, they participate in activities including swimming, gymnastics, use of the climbing gym, sports, crafts, nutrition education, outside playtime, computer time, and homework assistance.
The Y provides transportation to the Y from Old Town, Milford, Alton, Bradley, and Orono elementary schools. Registration is ongoing and your child can start at any time.
Child must have an active membership to be enrolled in any YMCA childcare program.
Late pick up is available during the school year for $10 per week. Registration for Late Pick-up is required.
All YMCA childcare is state licensed and all staff are CPR/First Aid certified. The Y accepts state subsidies.
The ASAP Program is open on school snow days, school in-service days, and the following holidays: President’s Day, Patriot’s Day, Columbus Day and Veteran’s Day.
YMCA Childcare is closed on the following days: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
