Alan Comeau, a native of Old Town and graduate of the University of Maine, has over 30 years of experience in non-profit community relations and marketing. His experience with the Y began with playing pee wee basketball when the facility was located on Main Street and progressed through adulthood when he was on the Y board, serving two terms as president.
As the Y’s Membership Director, he works with the staff to attract new members while ensuring current members enjoy all the services and benefits the Y offers to the communities it serves.
Alan is enthusiastic about the Y’s focus on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility and always looks forward to interacting with members and anyone who is interested in learning more about the Y’s mission and programming.
In his free time, he can be found playing golf at local courses, hiking on the many trails in the area, reading a good book, or spending time with family and friends.
